黑白棋，又名翻轉棋（Reversi）、蘋果棋或奧賽羅棋（Othello），19世紀末由英國人發明。20世紀時一位日本人長谷川五郎將其發展，並借用莎士比亞名劇奧賽羅（othello）為這個遊戲重新命名。
